Annual Fall Clean-Up
What is it? A community yard raking event scheduled on the 4th Saturday in October.

Who can request to have their yard raked? Anyone age 65 and over or anyone with a disability that prevents them from doing the work themselves. They must live within Spring Grove city limits.

Who can help out? We invite any individual or group who would like to volunteer time to help out their neighbors in the Spring Grove Community to participate. We have groups and individuals from these organizations participate: Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Spring Grove High School Volleyball team, Newhouse Norsemen 4H club, Spring Grove Lions club, and TaskTakers. This truly is a community event and it takes each and every volunteer to get the work done.

Mark your calendars for Saturday October 27th!

TaskTakers is now taking requests for the 5th Annual Fall Clean Up, when we recruit volunteers to rake yards for anyone who is 65 and older, or is physically unable to do the task themselves. Last year we had volunteers from seven local organizations along with families that teamed up to help out.
This is a great event that allows family and friends to work together to serve our community. Each group will be assigned yards to rake and bag leaves. Please let us know if your group or organization would like to get involved. This is a community event and you do not need to be a TaskTakers volunteer to be involved. Any questions please call 498-8275 or email us.
If you’d like to have your yard raked, please call 507-498-8275 before October 27th!
